Coconut Milk and Lemon Hair Straightening

10 Sep

The wonders of coconut continue!  You can use coconut milk as a natural hair straightner.   It will leave your hair straight, smooth and healthy.   Although this can be a bit messy it is worth it for the silky shine it will give your hair.

If you do this treatment two to three times a week, your hair will be more smooth and straight.   However do not do this treatment every day, as these natural ingredients contain a lot of oil that can cause the scalp to save oil reserves if done too often.

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix one cup of coconut milk with the juice of one lemon.   Place in the refrigerator to thicken.   Once thickened,  apply evenly on hair and massage into the .  Put a shower cap on over your hair and leave for about an hour.  Wash and condition the hair as normal.
