Strawberry Teeth Whitener

30 Oct

Another use for the yummy strawberry.  It can be eaten, put into a foot scrub, as part of a face mask and also as an ingredient to help whiten your teeth.   The reason for this is the malic acid that helps to remove surface discolouration.  Combined with my favourite product, baking soda,  strawberries become a natural teeth stain remover!   It is a fast, cheap and natural way to brighten your smile.  Although giving me something sparkly would achive the same bright smile….

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Crush a strawberry to a pulp, then mix with the equal amounts of baking soda until blended.
  • Use a toothbrush to spread the mixture onto your teeth and leave for 5 minutes.
  • Brush thoroughly to remove the paste, rinse and floss to remove any pips.
  • Smile!
